Commissioned by Dymak, the 2,800\u2011square\u2011metre HQ is a major milestone for the Danish firm, bringing design, logistics and management together under the one roof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.designboom.com\/architecture\/ballet-dancers-big-bjarke-ingels-group-circular-timber-building-dymak-hq-denmark-01-12-2026\/?utm_source=copilot.com\">Opening its doors to much fanfare this week<\/a>, the new headquarters is organised as a continuous circular loop, a form BIG says creates a flexible internal layout that allows teams to adapt workspaces to meet Dymak&#8217;s changing demands. Forty\u2011four CLT frames, arranged in a starburst pattern, form a grid\u2011like envelope that BIG says honours \u201cDenmark\u2019s half\u2011timbered architectural tradition\u201d while also demonstrating the strength and versatility of mass timber. The radial frames act as the primary load\u2011bearing system, distributing forces evenly and giving the building its distinctive circular geometry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whilst above the timber structure sits a roof fully fitted with 880 bolted\u2011on photovoltaic panels, tilted southward to maximise solar.
